Four days ago, the people from RenCon (Renton City Comic Con) held an event called “Kick off the Cons Party!“. As usual per these events, I had intended to take as many pictures as I could. Fortunately there were a lot of people from a Facebook group called “Cosplay Community Shoots – Seattle” huddled together in one spot. This gave me a lot of photographic opportunities and I was able to enjoy myself. This also gave me an opportunity to really test out the Sigma 85mm Art lens that I had recently purchased. There were some nitpicking that I had with the lens and hoped I would have it fixed. Perfect timing, really, as I don’t want to have issues when Sakura-Con comes around.

As usual, my intent was to take as many pictures as I could. What I didn’t realize was the group I had joined a couple months back would be huddled together. This gave me a great opportunity to get to know a few cosplayers and the photographer who had invited me into the group. The day turned out great!
